The Lune + Aster Sunrise Bronzer & Blush Palette, and the Moonrise Glow & Profile Bronzing Palette ($46 each and available meow)

I think it's so weird that some pulverization face products, like blush, bronzer and highlighter, seem to look better to me when I wear them with very minimal base products, like peradventure just a sheer BB or CC foam, or even just bare skin.

Because the long-term makeup-fond part of my brain expects them to look better layered on summit of a total-coverage foundation or a medium-coverage tinted moisturizer.

Have you lot ever seen a simultaneous Sunrise/Moonrise?

Outset fourth dimension I wore these Lune + Aster face duos (one is the Moonrise Glow + Contour Bronzing Palette, and the other is the Sunrise Bronze & Chroma Duo), I wore them on meridian of a full face of makeup — primer, medium-coverage foundation, concealer and powder, and I idea the powder grains looked a trivial heavy. In the case of the highlighter, information technology looked frosty and obvious.

Not flattering.

So I tried the same products on summit of the Lune + Aster CC Cream, and it was a bold nude squirrel! The highlighter looked dainty and delicate, and the blush gave me a natural-looking flush. Even the bronzer, which I was a fiddling iffy well-nigh at beginning. It thought it would be a fiddling besides absurd-toned and sparkly for me, just information technology looked downright good on a that light base.

What'south up with that?

Lune + Aster makeup is made for looks that can be done in mere minutes, and apparently the powders are formulated to flatter pare wearing minimal base of operations makeup.

I'k wearing a mix of the chroma and bronzer from the Sunrise Bronzer & Blush Palette on the apples of my cheeks, and the lighter shade from the Glow & Contour Bronzing Palette on my upper cheek bones, down the bridge of my nose and on my Cupid's bow.

If you're a base makeup minimalist, or are otherwise into super sheer tinted moisturizers, and you lot also similar vegan makeup, you're in luck. These duos are pricey, but they become uncommonly well with that blazon of look. I'm talking glowing, natural, all that good stuff. But, if you try to wear them with anything more than a BB or a CC cream, exist careful. They might expect heavy.

The lip is NARS Requite It Up.

FYI, these feel soft, blend dreamily and terminal all twenty-four hour period on my combo cheeks. I too like that the shimmer is so fine that information technology doesn't actually shimmer. Information technology gives more of a glow.

Might be worth information technology if y'all're a base makeup minimalist and/or looking for a vegan makeup options.
